In 1988, when River North was still a remote, neighborhood untouched by commercial business, Gwenda Jay founded this gallery. By 1999 she signed on Dan Addington, a local artist, as co-owner. Gwenda Jay/Addington Gallery, one of the older and wise stops for art in River North, specializes in contemporary painting, outdoor sculpture, and encasutic works. Throughout the artworks there is an undeniable devotion to the landscape.
