Practically next door to the exit stairs of the Western stop, the laid-back Green Eye bar is the perfect place to take the edge off of a rough commute. The bar offers a wide variety of beer from the sublime ($4.35 for a Summit Weiss) to the ridiculous (bottles of Hi-Life cost a mere $1.75), as well as delicious mixed drinks.
Its low lighting (mostly candles) and minimalist décor make it a good date spot, as well as a nice place to meet your pals after work. If the conversation leaves something to be desired, sidle up to the bar and pick up a game. Choices include chess, checkers, cards, Battleship, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble and much more.
