A popular choice for opera-goers because it's close to the Lyric Opera House and a touch upscale, Lloyd’s aims to please with its extensive menu.
Lloyd's also does a nice business at lunch because of its office building-friendly location—and its dining room has wi-fi access, so you can work as you chew.
But be forewarned: The food isn't cheap. An Asian shrimp salad at lunchtime will cost you $14; entrees like the pecan catfish also are around $14, and sandwiches are all more than $10.
Dinner prices are comparable; but the restaurant offers a few more steak and seafood options at night. And options are the name of the game at Lloyd’s: Whatever your craving—be it an Italian dish like shrimp pasta or an appetizer with an Asian flare, like pork pot stickers—chances are, you'll find it here.
