There's not a lot to write home about at this Lincoln Park bar, but there's not much to complain about, either. It's a decent place to grab a beer during the week (never crowded, it seems) and it couldn't be in a more convenient area of Halsted (if cabs had a home, this would be it). The drinks served up are mostly beer bottles; the bargoers young, working-their-way up types. Still, there are tables, a pool area in back and lots of standing room, even on weekends, when it is surprisingly not elbow-to-elbow (though it seems the crowd is tossing them back awful quick. Things get friendly after midnight). Marquee Lounge really isn't as Lincoln Park as you'd expect it to be, which is nice. For drink and conversation, it's a hotspot to try.
