| Chicago vocalist released her first album in 1986 and her second (Lunar Octave, for which Reader jazz critic Neil Tesser wrote the liner notes) a decade later. In between, she taught college music. In her most recent appearances (at the Fairmont Hotel), she was playing with drummer Jack Mouse, bassist Jim Cox, guitarist John Moulder, trumpeter Art Davis, and vibrophonist Brad Stirtz.
