| Veteran west-side vocalist performed with the likes of Magic Sam, Otis Rush, Elmore James and (her husband) Morris Pejoe during 1950s heyday of Chicago blues. Her bold, straight-ahead style has changed little since those days. You can listen to her new releaseAppointment with the Blues on the Chicago-based Noir Records. She and Rockin' Johnny are scheduled to perform on the Front Porch Stage at the 1999 Chicago Blues Festival.
