| Former Material Issue bassist after playing regularly with the Teenage Frames, and working on the upcoming posthumous Material Issue album, has debuted a new band, Vivian (formerly entitled Swing), featuring former Helen Carver members Steve Vlcek (guitar) and Scott Balletto (drums), guitarist Ryan Nelson (ex-Ground). It's not a retro jazz act, but another 3-chord pop group. They've recently completed their debut CD, has recorded several videos, and done a soundtrack for the indie film, Ivory.
