Must-See Music Pick! From the Music Editors: View Music Picks
Voted by the Chicago Reader as the "Best Public Art Event," the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Fest is one of those rare festivals that encapsulate Chicago’s best—from music and fine art to film. Each day will be jam-packed with events and activities and although it’s a good idea to go in with a game plan there certainly isn’t anything wrong with exploring the grounds. The music lineup is solid and each day’s headliner, specifically on the main stage (Disappears on Friday, NOMO on Saturday, and Ana Tijoux on Sunday) is worth checking out. If your focus is art the fest features five curated art exhibitions including Spudnik Press, Penguin Foot, Latitude, AnySquared, and Comfort Station Logan Square. There’s just so much to offer so the best thing to do is check the website for details and plan accordingly. (J. Min)
