While Lolla will be stealing away much of the musical headlines this weekend it’s important to note, for those who like to avoid the obnoxious fanaticism of overcrowded fests, that there will be a bevy of after parties worth checking out. One of them will be Vancouver native Grimes, who’s infectious voice is at once strikingly gorgeous and woefully tragic, like a siren’s song. On energy alone she’ll keep the party going well into the night and at a place like Logan Square Auditorium you can expect a raucous crowd to follow suit. The Big Pink and THEHEWNO2 open.
