Organizer: Chicago Chapter of The Recording Academy

What to expect: Classic blues covers from some of Chicago's finest musicians, as well as a catered reception and silent auction.

Why to go: Can't wait for Blues Fest? Beginning the night before, this event has some heavy hitters, including Ronnie Baker Brooks, Eddie "The Chief" Clearwater, Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump and Michael McDermott.

Additional info: It all happens at Buddy Guy's Legends. The evening will be hosted by 105.9 WCKG radio's Stan Lawrence and Chicago Tribune columnist Terry Armour, co-hosts of "The Stan & Terry Show". Reserved table seating for four is available for $200. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster or by emailing RSVP_Chicago@grammy.com. All proceeds go towards the Chicago Chapter's educational programming.
