What to expect: A race (or walk) through the streets of Orland Park, with the music of five live bands to keep you going.
Why to go: Not only is it for a good cause (the Illinois affiliate of the Y-Me Breast Cancer Organization), but you just might run a little faster with some live entertainment.
Additional info: The event starts at Palos Community Hospital's Health & Fitness Center at 153rd and West Avenue in Orland Park and winds through the tree-lined streets and parks of Orland Park. Free parking is available at the Primary Care Center (15300 West Ave). Use the 153rd Avenue entrance to the parking lot. Street parking also is available as well as free parking at the Centennial Park and Metra lots.
