What to expect: As the website says in all caps, THIS IS NOT YOUR FATHER'S FILM FEST. You'll have to check it out to see what they mean.
Why to go: The sixth annual event has developed a cult status as an underground short film festival featuring the best of Chicago amateur cinema. While the budgets might not be high, the quality is sure to impress.
Additional info: Get there early for the pre-party and stay late for the (in)famous post-show party. Your ticket includes admission to the festival and two drinks at the pre-party, located next door at Landmark.
