While I can’t vouch for Spots 1 through 5, I can honestly say that I enjoyed paying a visit to Spot 6. As it's more posh than your average Wrigleyville bar but decidedly snob-free, a Grateful Dead shirt and “#%*@ You” hat won't quite fit the bill for “proper attire." The dark lighting makes it a little hard to see, but at least it's conducive to watching DVDs playing pics like a Scissor Sisters concert followed by a collection of Britney Spears music videos.
Should you prefer live music, march your self and your $2 bottle of Bud Light (a Friday night special) down to the basement. There you will find various local bands playing for their friends lounging on the couches, surrounded by orange Christmas light decor. The lighting in the basement is subdued, but with a techno tone. While you'll find most of the crowd drinking Coronas or martinis, the drink selection includes the likes of Bloody Marys. If you choose to use the facilities, you will have the interesting aural sensation of hearing a mix of tunes coming from the basement and the bar.
