Reggie Benjamin brings back a Chicago nightlife legend with this Downers Grove spot (the original Stardust was located at 440 N. Halsted, where Rednofive now sits). This 14,000-square-foot nightclub has a capacity of more than 800 people, with four distinct areas divided by glass walls. Music will range from swing and acid jazz to funk, soul, house and '70s and '80s tunes. In addition to an extensive cocktail list, Stardust also offers a menu of global fare. Every Friday and Saturday evening guests can make reservations for "The Killer Dinner," which takes place at 7 p.m. For a $60 fee, guests can partake in an interactive murder-mystery performance that unfolds while they eat. There is also an omelet bar during late-night hours, and a separate late-night menu on Friday and Saturday nights until 4 a.m.
