| Algren is a fresh rock band from Chicago that has burst onto the local music scene with their unique blend of introspective lyrics, searing guitar riffs, grooving rhythms and dynamic songwriting. They blend a few styles of music to create a sound that is melodic, raw, energetic, and unforgetable. Their style has been compared to 30 Seconds to Mars, Thursday, and Incubus.
Although just formed in August 2006, vocalist/guitarist Jonathan Iseman and bassist Jason Holly played together for three years in the band Amici out of Indiana. Drummer Ben Brown brings with him a decade of experience playing in various rock, jazz, and country projects.
