Chicago Symphony Orchestra
Famed Windy City Orchestra, regarded as one of the world's best symphonies. Daniel Barenboim is Music Director, Pierre Boulez is Principal Guest Conductor. The esteemed Sir Georg Solti remained in an emeritus capacity until his death last year.

Founded in 1891 by the German-born Theodore Thomas, the Orchestra's other distinguished leaders have included Fritz Reiner and Frederick Stock.

Their regular home is Orchestra Hall, and during the Summer, they perform regularly at Ravinia Festival.
