| A professor of violin and chamber music at Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts, Mr. Forough is a Laureate of the Tchaikovsky International Competition, first prize winner of the Milwaukee Symphony Violin Competition and winner of the USIA's National violin/piano Duo Competition with his wife, pianist Carolyn McCracken. He and his wife have performed in recitals at the Kennedy Center, Phillips Collection, and Colon Theatre in Buenos Aires. As a United States Artistic Ambassador, Mr. Forough has performed and given master classes in many countries for the U.S. State Department. He was a faculty member at the Indiana University School of Music Summer String Academy, and is a member of the faculty of the Meadowmount School of Music during the summer, and the Chateau de Champs. Also a teacher of gifted pre-college youngsters, Mr Forough's past students are members of the Chicago Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, Milwaukee Symphony, and Houston Symphony.
