| Dirty is the result of a collaboration between several local music veterans. The band is comprised of composer and keyboardist Derek Fredrickson, vocalist Christie Day, bassist Kerry Simonian (all former bandmates in Sister Soleil), guitarist Tom Slattery, and occasional drummer Ethan Novak (of Acumen Nation and formerly of Soleil as well). They play a melodic, vocal-oriented electronic dance music. They combine the traditional guitar, bass, and drums with electronic loops and keyboards.
