| One of the better-known Howlin' Wolf alumni (and his former band leader) plays a grinding blues sax. Shaw was among the members of a Wolf tribute on the 1996 Chicago blues festival mainstage and is a regular performer at Chicago blues clubs. His son, Eddie, Jr., (aka "Vaan") is a guitarist.
