Eleventh Dream Day

Fine Chicago guitar band whose songs have received college airplay nation-wide, but has now more or less disappeared due to successful side projects (Janet Bean is in Freakwater; Douglas McCombs is in Tortoise, and Rick Rizzo is in Red Red Meat) and family obligations. Their last album, "Stalled Parade," was released in 2000. They also just re-issued Prairie School Freakout in October 20003.

Lest you think they're dead, though, their album "Stalled Parade" was released in 2000

Previous albums include Eighth (Thrill Jockey 1998), El Moodio (Atlantic dropped them (twice) after sales were low), Ursa Major (produced by Idful's John McEntire, mixed by Brad Wood), Beet, and their debut Prairie School Freakout. Also, Prairie School Freakout was just re-issued in Oct 2003 on Thrill Jockey.
