| Musician/actor/writer/teacher born and raised in Chicago. After graduating from Governor's State University, he ended up working with jazz greats Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Ramsey Lewis, and others. He has written or co-written original theatre and/or music for NBC-TV, the Improv, Second City, and children's productions for the not-for-profit Urban Gateways Group, which performs music and drama from Chicago's public schools. His debut recording, 21 In the Moment has 21 solo piano performances with his poetry.
