Chicago born (10/30/39) singer was the front woman for the seminal '60s Bay Area psychedelic rock act Jefferson Airplane (later renamed Jefferson Starship and even later the unintentionally self-parodying Starship) Slick wrote and sang such 60's classics as "White Rabbit" and "Somebody to Love" and the utterly schmaltzy '80's synth-pop ditty "We Built This City." Slick was also known for her extreme drug use and sexual escapades with the rich and famous of the '60's rock 'n' roll world...
