| One of the last surving links to the glory days of Chicago blues, harp legend James Cotton, recently won a Grammy Award for his all-acoustic Verve Records album Deep in the Blues, featuring guests Joe Louis Walker, pianist David Maxwell, and composer/bassist Charlie Haden. His voice isn't the gritty ultra-bluesy instrument it once was, and onstage he spends as much time acting as performing, he's still one of the most exuberant and crowd-pleasing living blues legends.
