| This solid country band is a recent arrival on the Chicago scene. Fronted by Torri Hamilton, whose strong and versatile voice resembles a stronger and fuller Kasey Chambers, Janesville pays tribute to classic country and ventures into more modern alt-country as well. Fine guitar work and supporting vocals by Owen Cooper (a veteran of many Chicago Bands, including the Lifters, Chicago Calling and others), solid basswork by Karl Paulsen and drumming by Eric "Baron" Behrenfeld, all combine to give this band great versatility and a great sound. Definitely worth checking out. For more information, visit their website: http://www.janesvillecountry.com
