| Freelance trombonist, arranger, and teacher performs regularly with Symphony II, the Ravinia Festival Orchestra, Chicago Opera Theater, and the Tower Brass, as well as recent appearances with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Music of the Baroque, Chicago Brass Quintet, and Chicago Chamber Musicians. He has been a member of the Santiago Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica. Mindeman graduated from Wheaton College and the American Conservatory of Music, and is currently a member of the music faculties of Northern Illinois University and Roosevelt University.
