Julian's Ride

Julian's Ride is such an explosive mixture of rock, funk, pop, soul, R&B and so much more that each song takes you on a ride! Now one of Chicago's best known talents, Julian grew up on the North side of Chicago jamming in bands in his teens. He landed a job with Brain Storm Communications doing commercial jingles where he learned more about the art of recording and engineering.

Julian exhibits his passion for his music in composing, producing, arranging and performing every one of his original works. In his live shows he is backed by one of the tightest bands in the nation.

In the mid-90's Julian created Julian's Ride and in early 2001 released an independent solo C.D. titled "Eargasm". The C.D.'s release created a big buzz with 14 tracks of extremely diversified music, with several singles entering the top 100 internet music charts. "My Love Won't Die" hit number 1 on the pop and rock charts, "Candlelight" hit number 5 on the R&B charts, "Do You Believe" hit number 7 on the pop charts and "Eargasm" hit number 1 on the mp3 funk charts.

Opening for acts such as Lake Side, Cameo, Fishbone, and sharing the stage with Prince and many more has established Julian as a respected musician and artist, and has proven himself to be a powerful force.

The music on the soon-to-be released double C.D. titled "FREEDOM" covers an incredibly wide spectrum, and is expressive in a diverse style all his own.

Julian's Ride has been performing very consistently, building a force not to be reckoned with! The Ride is currently preparing for a nationwide tour featuring live shows that are colorful, bold and daring, with lots of energy and excitement and plenty of surprises.

On July 25, 2005, Julian's Ride performed a live concert at the Daley Center in downtown Chicago, attracting 3,000 people for just a taste of what's in store. Julian's Ride also recently performed at Tre Via, and at two legendary venues, the Double Door and the Kinetic Playground. The Ride blew the crowd away, leaving them hungry and begging for more!

Julian is an artist bold enough to take you on a Ride you won't soon forget!
