| Illinois Entertainer critic Dean Ramos calls it "Catchy, straight up rock 'n' roll at its finest. Those are the only words I can use to describe Land of the El Caminos after listening to their third studio release, Subourbon. Seriously, screw marketing when the music is this good, the fans should find them. Similar to what made the Archers of Loaf such an indie rock hit, Land of the El Caminos is a bit more accessible. This is the mold from what great rock 'n' roll bands are made. With tunes like "Heaven", "Sold Me Out", and "Rock Star Crush", why the major labels haven't knocked down their doors is beyond me." Recordings include Lotec (Boojm Records, 1998), Doll Face (Boojm Records, 1999), and Subourbon (Boojm, 2001). For more information, visit their website: http://www.landoftheelcaminos.com/
