| Chicago Symphony Orchestra violinist (1989-) began studying violin at four with her father. After studying at the New England Conservatory of Music (where she received both bachelors and masters degrees), she was a fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center. While in the area, she also performed with the Boston Pops, Boston Symphony, Opera Company of Boston, Hartford Symphony, Springfield Symphony (as second principal violin). She joined the first violin section of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in 1988, and a year later became a member of the CSO.
