| Poppy Addison-area punksters... Currently a four-man band, the band has existed (in some form, under some name) since 1987, called The Gaping Onion Bags and The Stimulants before adopting the name Not Rebecca in 1988. The common members include singer/guitarist Tom ? (who spent the summer touring with the Smoking Popes to pay the bills) and bassist Dan ?. They have three full-length CDs. The most recent (on Johann's Face Records) is called Rocketship to Canada, Twin City Obituary was released in 1995, and their debut CD, a combination of two earlier releases Bowler and Who You Really Are put out by Underdog Records. Not Rebecca has a a single on Strike Out Reckhords Chicago punk compilation A Taste of Chicago "Lo-Cal Punk" ("Safety Harness") and a 7" vinyl picturedisc "three feet thick"/"side you" (Thick Records).
