| On We derived their name on a play of a similar french word meaning "artistic boredom" which is why the band was formed. Guitarist Sam Gjokaj formerly of Big Bang Music Theory teamed up with singer/songwriter Bridget O'Callaghan of Guam after a series of their musical endeavors came to a dead end. To the welcome surprise of both parties, their songwriting chemistry ignited a spark that eventually lead to the creation the band On We. On We has been described as somewhat rooted somewhat in the French Cold Wave movement, however its distinction comes through from the soaring and ethereally hypnotic vocals of Bridget O'Callaghan and cinematic music of guitarist Sam Gjokaj.
