NoVo Records founder Frankie Hill heads this group, playing keyboards and throwing a few of his vocals in the mix as well. What's the big deal with NoVo Records? Well, it currently has signed two of the area's hottest funk/acid jazz groups, Liquid Soul and Boogie Shoes.
Pelvic Delta produces a Dr. John feeling funk, a steady trot of grinding soul perfect for keeping the beat during a long drive or to set up a down-home, gritty feel for the evening. It's not 'Nawlins, but it sure isn't bad. Besides Hill, the group includes Grant Tye on guitar/vocals; Stevie Butler on lead vocals/guitar; Karla Bonn on vocals; Klem on bass/vocals; and Rich Reed on drums.
