| Prolixon has been described by 105.5 The Kat's morning show host Mike Tamano as, "...Timeless music, Prolific song writing, and one of the most 'way out there' acts I've run into". Prolixon's stage show is nothing less than extreme. Somewhat shocking, some would say. Guys in dresses and Richard Nixon launching instruments at each other to the melodic sound of heavy psychedelia with bipolar mood swings.
Virgel front man, guitarist, singer, song writer of Prolixon has a new project called American Anti-gravity who is currently recording their first major release with producer Phil Taylor (Future Leaders of the World / Machina). Pre-production work is being done right here in Chicago till the beginning of April 2007. Then they will be going to Jupiter Studios in St. Louis, Missouri to track and mix the record.
