Red X Rebellion was founded by guitarist Jason Pavlik and bassist Brian Fascetta in hopes to combine multiple styles of heavy rock music to go against the grain of contemporary rock. Eventually, these instrumentalists were fortunate enough to find Sean Luke, a vocalist with a remarkably versatile singing style. Fascetta left and was replaced by Shannon James Jahnke. Drummer Charlie Urbaytis later joined the band.
Red X Rebellion began performing in the Chicago-land area in the western suburbs. They’ve played for such venues as: The Rockhouse Cafe, Arlington Heights, IL, Penny Road Pub, Barrington, IL, Champs Rock Room, Burbank, IL and Rockhouse USA, Aurora, IL. Since then, Red X Rebellion continues to defy the trends of today’s disposable rock bands, and has succeeded in creating a heavy, melodic, sound that provokes your mind and makes your body shudder.
