| During the nearly three years of its existence, the 6-man Rhythm Tree has played at a number of popular Chicago clubs, including The Vic, Cubby Bear, and Elbo Room. In 1998, they released their dbut CD, The Longest Day (SoundPak Records). Band members include Adam Weil (lead vocalist, songwriter, and rhythm guitar), Rick Jones (electric guitar, guitar synth), Dave Rose (lead guitar), Frank Gatone (backup vocals, piano, keyboards), Barett Schultz (bass), and Mark Padgett (drums).
