| Violist joined the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 1967. He studied at the Eastman school of Music, the University of Southern California, and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. He was a violin soloist with the Eastman-Rochester Symphony Orchestra, the Finnish Radio Orchestra, and the Houston Symphony, was formerly principal violist of the Seattle Symphony, and was a member of Chicago Pro Musica. He passed away on April 23, 2008.
