Swizzle Tree's current release "Play On" opened to rave reviews September 9th, 2003 from both critics and fans. The album was released at the House of Blues with good friends Lucky Boys Confusion. Following the release of "Play On," Swizzle Tree received airplay on Chicago's WKQX-Q101 and WZZN-94.7 The Zone. They were the only band featured by Q101 during its opening day afternoon drive broadcast celebration for the new Soldier Field home of the Chicago Bears. WGN-TV held a local Chicago Battle of the Bands and 93% of the audience picked Swizzle Tree as their favorite band. Most recently, KIWR-89.7 The River in Omaha, Nebraska added "Theresa".
