| Guitarist Shelly Kurzynski Villasenor (ex puta-pons) and bassist Amy Malick (Intelligent Dennis, ex Danny Black) have teamed up with drummer Geoff Atkinson (ex Peralta) to form Telenovela, a frenetic, melodic, danceable rock trio that harkens back to late 70s punk-pop, '60s-style garage and classic rock and early electronic dance music. The group recently recorded 8 songs with Jason Ward at Prole Arts Studio in Chicago and will be releasing their first CD this summer.
