| A Grateful Dead tribute band who will perform regularly on Sunday nights at Goose Island in Wrigleyville. Dave Burlingame and Kris Nowak also play for the bluegrass band Cornmeal; bassist Mike Hazdra also plays bass for the Dark Star Orchestra and the Dead Beats; Daon Hufnus plays drums for Wingnut; Jim Farmer plays drums for Speargrass; Saxophonist Pat Mallinger performs with Sabertooth; and J.P. Nowak plays drums for the Outlaw Family Band and the Calico Cats. Starting on October 29, Terrapin Flyer will be touring with Jerry Garcia Band keyboardist Melvin Seals starting May 18th, 2005 .As you can see, this band is truly connected with the Chicago music scene.
