| Yvonne Doll's 4-piece Chicago-based acoustic rock outfit Yvonne Doll and The Locals is sort of a cross between Dave Matthews and the Indigo Girls. Founded in the spring of 1997, they characterize themselves as "music for people who read the lyrics, but still want to wake the neighbors." The Chicago Reader's Monica Kendrick says "Fans of the Indigo Girls and Michele Shocked will feel right at home... and the tough, folk-rock of her debut BLISS has spice and grit." Their latest release, Baby Buddhas and LIttle Einsteins, is available via www.CDBABY.com. For more information, visit their website: http://www.localsrock.com
