After shopping at Disc Replay a few times I also had a poor experience with the staff. I don't know if they're overworked, overstressed or underpaid but each time they really don't seem to want to be there. After asking a single question I felt like they wanted to reach into my chest and crush my soul. Not once was I helped or thanked for my business. Must have missed you Lauren.
It's a shame since they have the best prices around and a nice selection of older video games. Also a perfect location with best buy, gamestop and half price books nearby.

I work at this store, and I must apologize to Mr. Smith first and foremost by saying you shouldn't have been treated poorly. I would consider calling my employer next time you receive poor customer service. We pride ourselves in having a friendly, cohesive environment. Disc Replay is a great place to sell your old things and pick up something new. Everything we sell is guaranteed to play like new.
Stop by when I'm working. I'm super nice! :)

I have to say the disc replay in Skokie was one of the most horrible experiences I've had in my entire life. I went to the location to sell off some cd's and dvd's was treated beyond rudely from the red haired witch behind the SELL counter. No "thank you for your business"...... no reply at all for that matter...... acted as if I was ruining her day by having to sift through my things. Then you need to get a new job and your employer should can you immediately. As far as I'm concerned you are better off selling your stuff on eBay....... This store absolutely sucks.

Easy parking, friendly staff, good prices, fairly wide selection. They have a pretty wide variety of rock, recent r and b, hip hop-rap, popular dvd movies. The selection of country and western, jazz, blues, and international music is relatively sparse and poorly organized ("if there's a saxaphone on the cover, I guess it's in jazz").

5/30/06 Disc Replay in Skokie - has a new look - remodeled - they still have the same great prices on CD's, DVD's and games. They pack in alot of stuff in their small store ! Cool place to check out... my favorite stop after work.
