been dining a lot but Half shell top the worst of all over all in food ,price and top of all nasty service.

recently returned home to chicago somethings never change the half shell was just as i rememember if not better food the bom atmosphere to the max great first time date place deddie sess 7-20-2010

Not only good food, but the staff has almost never changed. They always rememeber you even if you missed some time. Good food, good people. I enjoy going there during a cold winters night.

Great little dive. we had the snowcrab legs and king crab legs. food was great. if you like the little hole'n'the wall bars you will love this place.

I've been eating at the Half-Shell for the last 30 years, Way back when Archie was doing the cooking. If it wasn't good food, I wouldn't keep coming back.
