I came in to offer free tickets to the Infinite Dreamer Stage Play to their students and was invited to teach dance there. It is such a beautiful space and the staff is very warm. It was a great experience for a performing artist to be among such wonderful art from pros to children's art...and great coffee too.

I toured Little Black Pearl, exhibited some of my own work there and attended an auction for the South Side Community Art Center there among other visits. It is a beautiful, full service facility, well maintained and provides a great place for young artists to learn and thrive. Everyone should plan a visit. You can purchase art there as well, by students and professionals!

I recently visited Chicago and had the good fortune to tour The Little Black Pearl location. It was a pleasure to see the effort put into this project, talk with several of the students in attendance, and view their work. The visit was capped off with the oppertunity to speak with Monica Haslip. An amazing young lady. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

As a senior I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere they provided for a family experience. We all were impressed. Although I never got to paint my piece instead one of the children there did. But that's O.K.. I'll speak to Mr.Theaster about that. thank you for a pleasant experience, see you soon! Granny

I love it. I took a class with my mother and my children were apart of the after school program. The support from the community I pray gets better but overal its great. I'm looking forward to doing some volunteer work. I love the vision. Hats off to LBP!
