The place is your typical bar; nothing special, but decent and clean. We had a pretty large group that kept growing in size, so it was tight quarters to say the least.
Other Side shares a menu and a door with it's sister restaurant, the Pasta Bowl. You can order from both menus in the bar, which was really great. Everyone we talked to there seemed quite friendly.
As for food, it ranged from great to horrible. The wings were awesome, but the hummus was absolutely dreadful. It had no taste even resembling hummus and was the consistency of spoiled applesauce. Avoid! Most of us actually had entree's off of the Pasta Bowl menu. Everyone had good things to say, and my gnocchi was great. It was so good, that I ate more of it than I should, which made me feel bloated and tired the rest of the night. That stuff is heavy-duty!
Overall, I'd recommend the place, especially if you have people in your group that want different types of food along with drinks. Though, strictly as a bar, I'd say Other Side is pretty average.
