There's nothing glitzy or fancy about the 65 Chinese Restaurant. It's a simple, clean-looking place that's got your basic, greasy-tasty Chinese food served cafeteria-style.
Combination plates, like sweet-and-sour chicken, garlic chicken or broccoli with chicken, come with white rice, fried rice or noodles. The same goes for the beef with broccoli or beef with tomato and green pepper dishes. Fried rice varieties include shrimp, chicken, beef, vegetable and barbecue pork. Soups and appetizers, such as spring rolls, egg rolls and chicken wings, also dot the menu. Menu items range from $.95 to about $7.
In addition to the regular Chinese fare, the 65 Chinese Restaurant and Bakery offers cakes in a variety of sizes. Six-inch cheesecakes go for $12 and 16-inch ones go for $63, and you can also get circular, fruit-filled cakes for about the same price. The bakery also makes heart-shaped cakes, cheesecakes and wedding cakes for special occasions.
