A mix of savory and sweet pretzel rolls that sit behind the glass case at Kim & Scott's in Lincoln Park definitely tempt the tummy. Veggie pretzel sandwich or turkey pretzel sandwich? They both look yummy, and the veggie pretzel sandwich turns out to be a hit, with cucumber slices, sprouts, avocado, tomatoes and hummus jammed inside a soft, scrumptious herb and cream cheese stuffed pretzel.

This charming storefront cafe/bakery comes after Kim & Scott's Gourmet Pretzels have been in business for 15 years. Besides the veggie pretzel sandwich, other sandwiches "made with a twist" include a chicken pesto pretzel sandwich, a ham and Swiss cheese pretzel sandwich, and a pepperoni pizza pretzel sandwich. There's also a sunflower butter and grape jelly pretzel sandwich for kids.

Salads and smoothies round out the menu. And if you're feeling adventurous, try the chocolate crumb stuffed pretzels or the mozzarella basil stuffed pretzels.
