One of four locations of a sub shop, which originally opened in 1971 on Clark Street in Rogers Park, this spot offers homemade soups and chili in addition to its crispy bread sandwiches. In addition to Italian beef, the eatery serves up warm and cold specialty sandwiches like the ham, salami, egg, cheese and pineapple sauce-topped South Sea; and the liverwurst, muenster cheese, salami, egg and sauerkraut-topped Conqueror. It also offers catering. Don't ask what's in the secret sauce; Nemo's won't tell you, but you can buy it in a bottle.
