Owner Bah Toy fuses herbal Chinese medicine with traditional Thai cooking to create dishes both healthy and delicious. The added bonus for any veggie: There's no meat on the menu. Instead, diners can select from a variety of seafood and imitation meat (including duck, pork, beef and chicken) for preparation in their favorite dishes while relaxing next to the sound of trickling fountains and gazing at fresh flowers lining the large front window.

With more than 100 dishes to choose from, making selections can feel a bit daunting, but with prices averaging $3-$12, it's hard to go wrong. Try the fried banana, taro and sweet potato for an excellent starter ($4.95), or order one of the many soups or salads or lighter fare. Enticing entrees include seafood in banana leaf on fire (extremely spicy and very unusual, $12.49) or the long life noodle (egg, tofu, nine vegetables and fresh ginger and garlic over rice noodles). Desserts include green tea, coconut or mango ice cream, as well as Thai custard with pumpkin or taro ($2.49), and diners can select from five types of herbal tea or eight different juice drinks.
