With more than 100 Thai and Vietnamese items on the menu, there's bound to be something to please everyone at Quang's Noodle Shop.
The Vietnamese specialty egg rolls were a definite winner, with rice paper rolls deep-fried and filled with ground chicken, carrot and vermicelli bean thread noodles. Cucumber salad, with crisp cucumber slices coated with a sweet and sour dressing topped with red onion and grated carrot, also hit the spot.
The Thai side of the menu is the larger one, with dishes running the gamut from pad thai, pad see eiw, lard nar and curries to fried rice, seafood and chicken dishes. If you're looking for something light, the papaya salad features shredded papaya and broiled shrimp mixed with green beans, tomato, ground peanuts and basil leaves in a homemade dressing.
On the Vietnamese side, you'll find items like stir-fried shrimp with onions and green peppers in black bean sauce and stir-fried squid with pineapple, tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers in a special sweet and sour sauce. Other offerings include a spicy catfish soup, which arrives in a hot pot with pineapple, bean sprouts and assorted veggies, and a deep-fried red snapper topped with a special tomato and onion sauce.
