This joint should win some kind of award for cheapest pizza in the city. A single slice of T’s pie, larger than the moon-sized plate on which it’s served, costs just over $1. And an entire 12-inch pie is only $9, or $11 if you want it delivered (the restaurant’s slogan: “You Ring, We Bring.”). But dining in at T’s isn’t what you’d expect, given the nature of its food and low prices. The seat-yourself dining room is as pristine as a porcelain sink and its high ceilings give the small space a less claustrophobic feel. A large back patio also provides seating on sunny days.
In addition to pizza, T’s offers a long list of side orders, including cheese fries, garlic bread and, oddly enough, tamales. An even larger sandwich selection includes a double cheeseburger, BBQ beef and chicken parmesan. A cooler to the side shelves giant cake slices for $2.75. Choose from strawberry cheesecake, German chocolate or chocolate chip; ice cream can be added for an extra buck.
