Once a month, Chicagoans gather in a Wicker Park jewelry store to share their stories and their liquor. Free and BYOB, "Grown Folks" is more raucous, more diverse and drunker than the big-name storytelling open mics in town. The venue is surreal, and the atmosphere is anything-goes, with host Cara Brigandi acting as indulgent, tart-tongued ringleader. Come early to get a chair. Come whenever if you don't mind standing in back.
